A visit to this area permits you to catch a glimpse of days gone by, particularly at the ancient Hawaiian salt pond near Hanapepe. Hanapepe Valley Lookout is also in the area, affording a view of rolling green hills and farms. If you look closely, you might just see dinosaur footprints where the movie Jurassic Park was filmed !
